We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating efforts for high-impact civil infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a skilled estimator with deep experience in wet utilities and underground pipeline construction , who is ready to play a pivotal role in winning work and mentoring future talent.

What You’ll Do

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for wet utility projects, including all labor, materials, equipment, and overhead components.
• Lead pre-bid job site visits and client meetings, documenting key scope details and client expectations.
• Analyze civil drawings, specifications, soils reports, and water district standards to prepare accurate takeoffs and bids.
• Utilize estimating software (Planswift, OST, Bluebeam, etc.) to perform detailed plan reviews and quantity calculations.
• Present and defend estimate assumptions, methodology, and pricing in internal reviews and project kickoff meetings.
• Collaborate across teams to support change orders, constructability reviews, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior estimators and foster knowledge-sharing within the estimating department.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in civil estimating with a strong focus on wet utility and pipeline projects
• In-depth knowledge of civil construction documents and specifications, including water agency standards
• Advanced proficiency with digital takeoff tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
