Job Description

Title: Graphic Designer/Coordinator (Consumer products)

Location: El Segundo, CA (4 days onsite M-TH)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $35-$38/Hour on W2

We are looking for someone who can understand the technicals and get the expected work from from the vendor agencies and also step up for hands on work in case if it is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have a strong sense of graphic design for products ranging from apparel, sporting goods, stationary, backpacks, etc.
  • Designer must be strong in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint – primary design format is vector-based
  • Design within brands, themes, categories, and age ranges
  • Deliver projects on time
  • Work with Lead Designers and Global Creative Director to understand and fulfill creative briefs and tackle creative tasks
  • With direction, able to create one sheets, inspiration decks, graphics, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Participate in the development phase of the style guide production
  • Track current and emerging visual and consumer trends and able to curate for Client's portfolio of brands and product categories
  • Actively participate in team brainstorm sessions (as well as cross-functional sessions) for new asset ideas, product development, and innovation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably for apparel and other consumer products
  • Skilled in Graphic Design, especially vector-based design
  • Excellent in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint
  • Must be very good with time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills to articulate all design ideas
  • Licensing experience is preferred but not required
  • Requires strong knowledge of color theory, layout, composition, and typography
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Drawing and sketching to communicate ideas is a plus
