About the Role : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations and management of our organization. The ideal candidate will assist in driving business success, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. A strong background in Food & Beverage will be a plus in addition to the Rooms aspect of the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the General Manager in daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Oversee staff performance, providing guidance and support to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to develop staff skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous director of rooms experience and food & beverage experience is a plus, preferably in a full-service hotel.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an executive or leadership committee role is a plus.

Required Skills :

  • Proven experience in a management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant management software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
