Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Admissions and Business Development is responsible for the leadership, development, management and execution of the Admissions and Business Development strategies, tactics, processes, reports, and measurements for all Onsite and Milestones facilities. The position is also responsible for representation at key industry and target vertical events. The VP is responsible for meeting and exceeding targeted client admission projections and goals along with educating, advising, and selling referents and the public on Onsite and Milestones programs and services. The position is also responsible for budgeting, forecasting, planning, market analysis. The VP is responsible for cultivating potential client and family relations, referral relations, and targeted vertical prospects, etc. The position must work cross-functionally across the organization (to include Marketing, Clinical, Finance, Data & Research and Programming teams) to meet the needs of program participants and the marketplace.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish annual forecasts and operational budgets for Milestones and Onsite Workshops admissions and admissions execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Business Development, internal Case Management and Admissions staff and all other departments to create a collaborative working team that will increase active referents, increase admissions, and enhance the client experience throughout all facilities.
  • Collaborate with Chief Executive Officer and others utilizing market intelligence data to create overall client acquisition philosophy to support the organization’s vision and strategy.
  • Create an organization-wide targeted business development strategy to support relationship management, new business prospecting, and payer mix to meet financial benchmarks
  • Oversee and manage business development and admissions tracking and key data, trends, and projections for census, call center, and development planning
  • Execute strategic direction through the admissions process including managing the census and payer mix daily to meet strategic and financial goals.
  • Ensure the admissions department provides the highest level of customer service to our referral sources and prospective clients and their families while meeting closure KPI’s.
  • Lead Business Development team to develop strategies focused on increasing revenue from new and existing referral sources and expanded verticals.
  • Continually generate new referral sources that support Onsite's key strategic client segments
  • Conduct performance evaluations of all direct reports as well as provide coaching, training, and supervision of team members
  • Develop and monitor individual and departmental weekly, monthly, and annual goals and coach team to achieve success
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative and effective working relationship across the organization and among the Executive and Leadership teams
  • Monitor utilization and tracking of scholarship funds and discretionary discounts as necessary
  • Liaise with high profile patients, referrals, and interventionists and internal referents
  • Work with the VP of Clinical Services for both Milestones and Onsite to oversee the clinical approval process,
  • Coordinate all conferences on the national level to best showcase Onsite and Milestones and maintain budget guidelines, demonstrating Onsite’s return on investment.
  • Serve as a key representative of Onsite and Milestones by participating in speaking opportunities, industry committees, and other events.

  • Actively participate in the strategic execution of the Company's Vision and Strategic Plan as a member of Onsite's management team
  • Actively participate both in obtaining and maintaining Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation by timely assistance with all requests, training and adhering to Policies and Procedures
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (e.g., HIPAA, CARF, etc.); understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal / state / local laws and regulations.; maintain complete confidentiality in all client/program matters
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or related field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of business development experience with 5+ years of call center experience. Established relationships within the Behavioral Healthcare industry. More than 10+ years of leadership experience.
