Job Description

This nonprofit in DC is seeking a professional with two or more years of HR or recruiting experience, as well as demonstrated Greenhouse Applicant Tracking experience, to join their HR team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for someone who is a quick-learner, possesses warmth in delivery and functions well across administrative functions. This role involves full cycle recruiting with daily communications with candidates and internal staff. Candidates who are stellar communicators, follow-through on tasks and believe in delivery quality customer service to all are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the recruitment process by creating ads, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews using strong communication skills, and managing the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse.
  • Learn the needs of the team to best determine, source and place candidates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates throughout the entire interview process.
  • Act as the liaison between candidates and the HR team.
  • Work with the HR team to create sourcing strategies, support talent searches, and record candidate activity data.
  • Maintain accurate data and track key metrics.
  • Assist with taking the lead on training staff on utilizing ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Support other recruiting programs, projects and virtual and in-person events as needed.
  • Schedule interviews and organize calendar management across a variety of teams. Be an active player in collecting team feedback, sharing best practices and facilitating an overall positive experience across candidates and internal contacts.
