John Evans Recruiting is proud to partner with a dynamic, growth-oriented healthcare organization backed by leading private equity sponsors. We’re seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Development / M&A team and play a critical role in evaluating, executing, and integrating strategic acquisitions across the U.S. This is a high-impact, fully remote opportunity for a candidate with investment banking training and a passion for deal execution, financial modeling, and transaction diligence. You’ll be embedded in a lean, fast-paced corporate development team, working directly with senior leadership to:

• Analyze target company financials using 3-statement models to assess EBITDA, cash flow, and key performance metrics
• Spread financials from CIMs, internal statements, and diligence materials with speed and precision in Excel
• Support transaction execution , including LOIs, contracts, and legal documentation review
• Apply GAAP and accrual accounting principles to assess deal quality and identify red flags
• Participate in upfront diligence and post-close integration, following a structured M&A playbook
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless transitions

Requirements -

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisory
• Strong command of Excel modeling , especially EBITDA adjustments and scenario analysis
• Deep understanding of GAAP/accrual accounting and how it informs deal diligence
• Exposure to contracts, legal documentation, and transaction structuring
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple deals
• Intellectual curiosity, process discipline, and a bias for action
