The Office of the Chief People Officer (OCPO) plays a critical role in shaping Microsoft’s people strategy and culture. This team leads with a business-first mindset and is focused on enabling transformation, innovation, and operational excellence with high performance and high empathy across the company.
As a Senior Communications Manager, you will shape and deliver world-class internal and external communications that bring clarity, energy, and purpose to how we tell our story – both within Microsoft and across the industry. You’ll lead compelling storytelling initiatives, drive employee and community engagement, and support high-impact programs spanning events, public relations, and social media strategy.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Communications and partners closely with stakeholders across the Office of the Chief People Officer (OCPO), Human Resources (HR) function, Corporate Communications, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and other key teams.

Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
