As an experienced Senior Product Developer for Data, Networking, and Managed Services, you excel at delivering innovative product development initiatives that augment their existing product portfolio, enhance the client experience and drive product performance. You guide the product development roadmap through technical leadership while serving as a data and networking advocate to Engineering, Operations and client experience teams. You possess a strong understanding of product requirements, industry-leading network architectures and wireline and wireless delivery. You work with delivery and client experience teams to develop and implement network and product enhancements and provide improvement recommendations.

What You Will Do:

  • Encourage company-wide excellence and success through active and consistent support of all efforts to enhance the client experience and drive product performance.
  • Drive the execution of the product development roadmap by leading cross-functional groups across engineering, IT, operations and client experience.
  • Guide the OSS and BSS support teams through the development of detailed requirements that provide guidance in developing product functionalities.
  • Improve product solutions through the research and inclusion of new technologies.
  • Serve as an expert on performance monitoring and security features of wireline and wireless technologies and services and associated service assurance components to enhance these technologies.
  • Advocate for the product organization by working closely with architects and engineering teams in designing, modeling and implementing new technologies.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7 or more years of experience in product development , engineering or operations.
  • 5 or more years of experience with cable, telecommunications, cellular software or online services .
  • Cellular (LT, 5G, GSM) experience is a huge bonus - someone that has worked with Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile
  • Understanding or experience in one or more of the following technology fields: high-speed Ethernet and internet service access of 10G to 100G, layer 2 and layer 3 routing and switching, security services, managed services, cellular services, SD-WAN technology, SDN and virtual network function technology based virtual services.
  • Deep technical knowledge of standards and technologies used for products in Internet, Ethernet, MPLS, Carrier cell tower backhaul, wireless services, internet of things (IoT), LoRaWAN, security services, managed network services and cloud services.
  • Extensive experience with IP networking technologies including routing, addressing, filtering, load balancing and peering.
  • History of developing detailed business requirements or features and user stories.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices .
  • Track record of working with internal and client facing web portals to support product offerings.
  • Understanding of complex and technical concepts with the ability to translate them into simplified product attributes.
  • Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills with the ability to lead large, cross-functional teams while making decisions and resolving issues under pressure.
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics while managing and delivering against several initiatives simultaneously.
  • Equipped to align systems, programs and people with the company strategy and culture while fostering teamwork and building a culture of collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and project management software.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
