Job Description

Staffing Proxy is partnering with Duncan Regional Hospital (DRH) to find a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Audiologist to join their growing team. DRH is a non-profit, community hospital that blends high-quality care with small-town values. While this is a hospital setting, the environment is cohesive and collaborative—leadership is visible, the CEO is deeply involved with providers, and everyone shares one goal: to improve access to care for their rural community.

This is more than a job—it’s a chance to build long-term relationships, grow with an expanding audiology department, and make a meaningful impact on children and families throughout southern Oklahoma.

Position Overview:

In this role, you’ll specialize in the assessment and management of pediatric patients , from newborns through adolescents. Your work will focus on early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing disorders to ensure each child reaches their full communication potential.

Clinical services include newborn hearing follow-ups, diagnostic ABR testing, OAE, VRA/CPA, tympanometry, and speech audiometry. You’ll also perform pediatric hearing aid fittings and verifications, provide counseling and education to parents and caregivers, and coordinate closely with pediatricians, ENTs, and speech-language pathologists to support holistic, family-centered care.

Although the primary focus is pediatrics, you’ll also assist with select adult diagnostics as needed and contribute to DRH’s growing audiology program as it prepares for expansion into a new, dedicated clinic space. A

This position is ideal for an audiologist who’s passionate about pediatric care, enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration, and wants to make a tangible difference in a community-based hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents
  • Conduct ABR, OAE, tympanometry, VRA, and conditioned play audiometry
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families
  • Support patients with tinnitus through evidence-based strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for coordinated patient care

What You'll Love:

  • Working in a hospital where your voice is heard and leadership is accessible
  • Being part of a team that's growing, with a brand new audiology space on the horizon
  • Making a lasting impact in a rural community where your work truly matters

Benefits Highlights:

  • Comprehensive health insurance (for employees and dependents)
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
  • Relocation assistance
  • Licensure and malpractice coverage
  • Eligible for student loan repayment assistance up to $250,000 (requires a 5-year commitment)
  • Access to continued education and professional development

What We're Looking For:

  • Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) from an accredited program
  • Active Oklahoma audiology license (or eligibility)
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills
  • Genuine commitment to patient care and rural health
  • Interest in becoming part of a close-knit team and community
