Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a MANAGER- NURSING to join our EMERGENCY team!

The Nurse Manager is an operational Leader that supports Nurses on respective unit(s) or across the hospital. The Nurse Manger is a Registered Nurse that understands and supports the philosophy, policies and procedures of Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Nurse Manager works under the direction of a Nursing Director/and or CNO. This role supports bedside staff directly with majority time spent on the unit, or supports nursing projects that affect the division of nursing.

HOURS: Full-time, 80 hours per two-week pay period, 1.0 FTE

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, BSN. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Three years’ experience as a staff nurse, knowledge and expertise in area of application, and competency in critical thinking and prioritizing skills in previous employment situation necessary for patient care and management functions.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin nursing license or compact license.
