Job Description

An innovative footwear company that is centered around dance is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their team in a part-time, remote capacity. This individual will be working 10-12 hours per week, supporting areas that include their upcoming celebrity launch, social media, content strategy and execution, creative development, influencers, etc.

*Mostly remote, however they are seeking candidate to come work in office from time to time

*ASAP start - ongoing (no end date in site)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with online marketing initiatives, including but is not limited to attending meetings, gathering materials, organizing/analyzing data and working with SEM, SEO, CSE, e-mail and platforms.
  • Work with team members to create competitive analysis from an online and visual perspective.
  • Assist with all photography needs as needed, including but not limited to attending photo shoots, organizing/preparing samples, creating shots lists/agendas, picking items from warehouse to be shot, maintaining lists of needs, coordinating all e-commerce flat photography, etc.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the online promotion schedule. Provide support with gathering translations, posting banners, etc.
  • Assist in keeping track of digital content needs, including but not limited to image flats and look book requirements.
  • Assist with the printing, production and shipping of materials as needed.
  • Work with the team to provide quality assurance for marketing materials, product details and other company collateral. This includes but is not limited to proof reading, checking pricing and working with other departments to ensure communication accuracy as needed.
  • Gather translations for any communication materials required for use internationally.
  • Assist in the creation of the email campaign schedule by utilizing Google Analytics data on past campaigns to map out the arrival of the seasons’ new products.
  • Assist in creating a cohesive content / brand story through all customer touch points. Reinforce luxury brand voice through tone, style, story and content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Fashion Merchandising / Communications or related degree.
  • 1+ copywriting experience in the fashion / apparel industry required. Well-versed in online media (email, web, social, etc).
  • Previous digital, email and social media marketing experience, preferably in a luxury fashion / apparel brand environment.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of how copy relates to art, design and graphics.
  • In tune with current trends in digital marketing and fashion brands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specially Excel, and Internet applications is required.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Iterable preferred.
  • Highly detail oriented, organized and flexible.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment, while working independently and collaboratively
