Job Title : Mainframe COBOL Lead Developer (JCL, DB2/IDMS)

Location: Albany, New York(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Create and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Design, implement, and manage IBM DB2 and IDMS databases.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system analysis, and solution design for complex, multi-tiered systems.
• Write and maintain technical design specification documents for component-based systems.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Mentor junior staff on coding standards, best practices, and system performance optimization.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
