As we scale, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to support our growing team and help shape a strong organizational culture from the ground up.

Position Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting all aspects of human resources, including payroll and benefit, talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, employee relations and HR policy implementation. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful expansion of our operations in the Austin area, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this role will be to support our new manufacturing facility in Georgetown, TX, and will work closely with the HQ International HR team. In the generalist role, the duties will vary and offer broad exposure to the Human Resources function, such as recruitment, payroll and benefit, employee relations, learning & development (L&D), employee engagement, performance management, and more:

1. Talent Requisition:

  • Partner with plant leadership to support workforce planning and staffing strategies.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and full staffing lifecycle for hourly and salaried roles in the new facility.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration.

2. Payroll & Benefit:

  • Responsible for payroll and payment processing
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and monitor new regulations
  • Manage payroll compliance and remittance of payroll-related taxes for multiple states
  • Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes
  • Develop and distribute communications regarding payroll-related matters to employees

3. Employee Relations, Policy Compliance and others:

  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs consistently and effectively.
  • Support performance management, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR-related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations.
  • Ability to be proactive and a team player with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for the most efficient use of time
  • Resourcefulness, High Integrity, Results Orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.). Strong PPT and Excel.
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus.
