Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Commercial Data Analyst:
- Develop accurate reports to measure the success of business initiatives
- Create statistical tools for analysis to enhance business efforts
- Gather and utilize internal and retail data for comprehensive analysis
- Perform retail analysis to support advertising and program spending
- Manage data for reporting and distribution to appropriate stakeholders
- This is a 3-month contract with potential for extensions
Required Skills for Commercial Data Analyst:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Superior knowledge of digital account providers and digital music/entertainment business
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with relational database reporting tools, SQL & Google Big Query
- Python and/or experience with APIs and data scraping technologies is a plus
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues and generate solutions
- Eagerness to learn and understand the business models revolutionizing digital and subscription-based media
