Job Summary

The Azure DevOps Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable DevOps solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on establishing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and cloud-native deployment strategies. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformation, ensure operational excellence, and enable continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring aligned with DevSecOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments across environments.
• Architect and automate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep .
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, branching strategies , and release governance across teams.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm charts .
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Implement security, compliance, and governance policies through Azure Key Vault, RBAC, and Managed Identities.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives ensuring scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enable continuous delivery and DevSecOps culture .
• Provide technical leadership in architectural reviews, performance tuning, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps , Cloud Architecture , or Build and Release Engineering .
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions , or Jenkins .
• Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and YAML scripting .
• Proficient in Azure services including AKS, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, and Networking.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , version control systems (Git) , and artifact management .
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration , and cloud-native patterns .
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP, Defender for Cloud).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert .
• Experience with multi-region deployments , blue-green/canary strategies , and cost optimization .
• Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure + AWS/GCP).
