About the Firm - I am recruiting for an excellent boutique firm in DC in need of an associate with 2-4 years of experience from a law firm, clerkship or government agency . The firm focuses on plaintiff-side work and is open to any kind of litigation experience. The hire will be handling a variety of commercial litigation, antitrust litigation, class actions, mass torts, litigation against pharmaceutical companies, bankruptcy, etc. They are very supportive of pro bono work and any pro bono hours count towards billable hours. High profile and sophisticated work.
Compensation - $235k base. All associates receive a holiday bonus.
Hours - No hours requirement. They do not have hours-based bonuses. Most associates bill between 1800-1900 hours. Some less and some more. No pressure to bill a certain amount. Associates like that they are not competing over hours.
Hybrid Work Environment - Firm is fine with associates going into the office 8 days a month.
First interview is 30 minutes to an hour over Zoom.
