Job Description

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with an established and growing ophthalmic group in Denver that is searching for their next Administrator.

Position: Administrator

Summary:

  • Administers and implements clinic operational objectives for a multi-site practice.
  • Oversees activities related to multiple specialties, focusing on refractive surgery, glaucoma, and cornea
  • Manages general operations, fiscal management, program development, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Partners to develop departmental goals and strategies aligned with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Optimizes staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
  • Mentors and develops frontline supervisors, ensuring effective team leadership.
  • Manages staff and provider scheduling, recruitment, payroll processes, and student engagements.
  • Develops and manages departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance and robust contract and vendor relations.
  • Evaluates and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies; oversees inventory and ensures operational efficiency.
  • Develops proposals for capital equipment investments and new program initiatives in partnership with the Medical Leadership.
  • Accountable for maintaining and enhancing patient care quality, coordinating services with patients, staff, physician leadership, and other departments.
  • Engages in critical thinking, demonstrates decisive judgment, and operates efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, taking appropriate action to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing operations and P&L within a multi-site healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of refractive, glaucoma, and cornea business practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on mentorship and staff development.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
