POSITION: Administrative Assistant

LOCATION: Brighton, MI

Insulgard provides architectural security systems built to resist ballistic, wind and impact, and forced entry threats. Insulgard, established in 1976, is celebrating 50 years in the physical security market.

This position will be in Brighton, Michigan.

What you'll do:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for all essential administrative functions of the business and is a key partner reporting directly to the President. This role includes performing daily and weekly administrative projects, scheduling meetings, communicating with customers and suppliers, and collaborating with team members.

• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
• Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors
• Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning
• Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Supports team by performing tasks related to organization
• Provides information by answering questions and requests
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What you'll need:

• Must be 18 years or older
• HS Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• (Preferred) 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
